Time and tide wait for no man, and this much loved painting has found an empathic new home. I have a deep visceral attachment to the sea..in all its many splendoured moods. In this instance the cadence and beat of the waves thrums through me..the brine stinging the eyes..the wind whipping and tugging..all shaping and informing the senses as the work unfolds its light..impregnating itself into the fabric of the piece.
