Celebrating life through Art, Nurture and Nature
Celebrating Life Through Art, Nurture And Nature
Through the loving nurture of our children and each other,
nature, and our cultures, we can work together
from a place of compassionate interdependent intention,
so creating a more beautiful world for All of us..
There is a great joy when we in sweet surrender to the inner child,
go forth to explore our natural world with love, curiosity and wonder ..
such reflective joys enfold us as in loving embracive relationships
with each other and life itself, we boldly go forth to mirror the perfection
of a world made sublime by our Divine Creative Source.
The sacred cosmologies of ethnic groups throughout the world work
from the loving knowing of the essence of Nature,
the sublime understanding of a Cosmic Order
which informs and underpins all manifestations of life.
We live under the deep cloud that our Societies economic growth
has been achieved only through centuries of arrogant depletion
of our beautiful environment, making each of us spiritually, as well as physically impoverished.
We each have a vital role to play in joyously renewing ourselves
and our Societies, through interacting harmoniously within the Cosmic Order,
for we then replenish ourselves within the rhythm of nature,
which acts so subtly to maintain the sub strata of our existence at our temporal level.
"The arts celebrate all the senses, releasing the body to balance and harmony,
the soul and mind, to a sense of peace and belonging.
Art ever works on the inner and outer senses.
That our youth are being deprived of such fundamental needs
speak volumes for the values of our leaders,
and the depth of our dis-ease within us, and with the natural world.
Through nurture we become aware of our vital role in the chain of life,
and our connectedness with everything. We are still failing, to understand the need,
for creative interaction in our society. There is increasing marginalisation of the arts,
in children's lives, whether by accident, or design, the effects are the same;
our youngsters are being denied the celebratory skills,
with which they can play a full participatory role in society.
Our children are the future! Unless they are nurtured and esteemed through the arts,
then Our society will continue in a tail spin downwards.
We live in a society which has become dis-connected,
where authorities have spoken of consuming nature in order to create wealth.
Little wonder an indigenous soul was moved to say,..
"and when you have cut down the last tree, killed all the wildlife and fish,
when you have fouled all the rivers and oceans, are you going to eat money?"
Technology has its place, but it must be used with wisdom!
In the west we are on an orgy of greed and destruction, of irreplaceable natural,
life support systems. That we deny so many of our planet's population,
with this unsustainable lifestyle is unthinkable...yet this is the actuality,
unbelievably we are driven to extend this lifestyle, to all suffering humanity!
Why are we enslaved to ego driven consumption?
If it was demonstrable that it made people more contented and happy,
encouraged personal freedom and justice in a sustainable future,
then I could see the point of our so called progress, but this is manifestly not the case!
It doesn't have to be like this and thankfully, there is a growing awareness of the futility
of our present world view. It all comes back to education,
when we teach our children respect and love for nature through the arts
we embrace all of life, otherwise how can our children ever develop a meaningful dialogue
with nature and heal the dis-ease which pervades our society?
Very young children have an insatiable curiosity about life and their place
within this environment. Einstein liked to call them "true geniuses",
yet without empathy and nurturing from their parents and other adults,
they become suppressed and frustrated and the creative spark
within is dimmed if not quenched...Au
